This is the first generation to be made, and as such it is still in the process of being created. The images below of models are not complete and do not represent everything that will be done.
Designed in-house from the ground up to fit within a waterproof pelican case, this sensor package has two flavors - internal and RF.
This is the first generation proof-of-concept, so it does not have any cell/sat connectivity capability.
Using the Arduino platform, the device allows the viewing of live data via LCD display, saves the data locally, and transmits the data via RF to a base station with a max range of ~1,000m.
It saves locally and “data dumps” via RF once reconnected to home base station.
